Terms of Use

By using the Open Collaborative Platform, owned by CIRCASAproject, you agree to be bound by our “Terms of Use”. These terms affect your legal rights and obligations. If you do not agree with these terms, you will not be able to register an account. These terms apply to all users.

The Open Collaborative Platform site is limited to professional interaction and collaboration of registered users and allows them to participate in online services by entering personal information.

Account

By using our site, you agree that any information provided will be complete and accurate and you will neither register or attempt to enter under the name of another person or entity.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your user ID and password and for all activities that occur under your account. CIRCASAproject does not authorize the use of your User ID by third parties.

 

Termination clause:

If, for any reason, we believe that you have not complied with these terms and conditions, we may, at our sole discretion, cancel your access to your registered account immediately and without prior notice. This applies also for commercial messages in our platform or any conduct that we believe to be unlawful or harmful to others.

If you no longer wish to have a registered account, you may terminate your account by sending an email to contact-circasa@inra.fr.

Changes

We may change any of the Terms by posting revised Terms of Use on this website. Any modification is effective immediately upon posting the modification. Your continued use of www.ocp.circasa-project.eu following the posting of any modification signifies your acceptance of that modification. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us! If you are a registered user, the personal information you provide to us when you sign up or contact us is collected to support and manage your use of this platform. We will never share your e-mail address or other personally identifiable information to third parties, or make that information publicly available without your permission.

We are a scientific project and we provide a free service, so we do track your activities on this site. We may possibly combine your usage metrics with others to create an aggregate picture of how the site is being used in order to make it better. However, such usage reports will never contain detailed information about your activities as an individual.

This data is used for the purposes of publishing the web site, measuring traffic, processing response time-related incidents, as well as processing requests you may submit via the contact form, or to send you a newsletter.

Who owns or has rights on the OCP content?

The www.ocp.circasa-project.eu site hosts content from a number of authors. The statements and views of these authors are theirs alone, and do not reflect the stances or policies of the CIRCASA Project, nor does their posting imply our endorsement.

The Open collaborative Platform has not reviewed, and cannot review, all of the material posted to the Website, and cannot, therefore, be responsible for that material's content, use or effects. 

The general structure of the site, its contents, texts – including press releases – videos, images and animations which appear or are available on the site, are protected by third-party intellectual property rights.
